These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SettledHub platform at settledhub.co.uk (the "Platform"), operated by SettledHub("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. WhileSettledHub is designed for everyone settling in the UK, any individual who meets the age requirement may create an account.
When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@settledhub.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
You may post reviews, messages, listings, and other content ("User Content") on the Platform. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant SettledHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party, contain defamatory material, or violate any applicable law.

SettledHub does not accept bookings or process payments. Any agreement is made directly between users and providers. SettledHub is not a party to these agreements.
Landlords, service providers, and other partners who post listings on the Platform agree to the following:
Accommodation
The following applies when you use the Platform to find or enquire about accommodation:
When you contact or arrange services through the Platform (including for services other than accommodation):
The following applies when you connect with transport providers for airport travel through the Platform:
The following applies when you view or obtain tickets for, or attend events listed on the Platform:
The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, functionality, design, trademarks, and logos are owned by SettledHub and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written permission.
Important: Please read this section carefully.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SettledHub, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses due to your relationship with independent providers.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to SettledHub in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a dispute with SettledHub, we encourage you to first contact us at info@settledhub.com so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we are unable to reach a resolution within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. For EU/UK consumers, you may also be entitled to use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
